Embryology is essentially the study of structures. Computers are very well suited for this, as both movement and three-dimensional representation are possible. This is most important for understanding the development process of an embryo.
This e-course is offered in German and French. It is designed for pre-clinical medical students in their first and second years. Each of the 23 modules starts by presenting concepts and techniques.
Students take on more responsibility as they advance in the learning process. They are tested on the contents at the end of each module. Individual needs and weaknesses are captured online and assessed by means of feedback. This improves interaction between individual students and their teachers.
