Artcampus and pharmasquare: Finalists of medida prix 2003 contest

During the experts workshop on july 3/4 2003 the medida prix experts nominated eight projects that will participate on the final contest for the medida prix 2003.
Among the finalists are the two SVC projects "artcampus" and "pharmasquare" and two other projects from Switzerland ("Interaktive Makroökonomik", University of St. Gallen and "Exorciser", ETH Zürich).
That means, half of the finalists come from Switzerland and a quarter of them are Swiss Virtual Campus projects. Regarding that projects from Germany, Austria and Switzerland can participate on the contest and that Switzerland is the smallest country among them, this is a sensation!
The winner of the medida prix 2003 will be presented at the european experts conference of the "association for media in science" (Gesellschaft für Medien in der Wissenschaft) on september 16 to 19 2003 at the university of Duisburg and will receive 100'000 €. Visit the medidaprix website for more information.
