Finite element analysis (FEA) is a widely employed simulation method in technology. Today, nearly every engineering workplace is equipped for FEA. However, only few engineers possess the specialized knowledge to exploit all the possibilities offered by this method.
This e-course meets the need for basic and advanced FEA training in the area of structural mechanics. Students work together online in the particularly important section covering applications and practical exercises, with a course leader providing coordination and support. The intention is to use this bilingual (German and French) course both for regular engineering studies and as a postgraduate programme.
