Aging and dementia are among the major medical and social issues of the new millennium.

The AD Learn e-course focuses on Alzheimer's dementia and associated disorders. The knowledge needed for the state examination takes the form of case studies and problem-solving approaches, supplemented by the latest research findings, new insights gained from scientific conferences and links to relevant medical and neurescience websites.

The themes covered include Alzheimer's dementia, Lewy body dementia, vascular dementia, prion diseases, secondary dementia and cognitive disorders associated with depression, as well as ethical aspects and the development of new medicines. The course also provides interactive checklists and virtual exercises in diagnostics and therapy.
