This year the SVC Days will be integrated into the framework of the e-education event:

SVC Days 2003
Public presentation of the Swiss Virtual Campus
Discussion forum for SVC participants
(launched by the SVC Coordination together with the University of Lucerne)
ICNEE International Conference on New Learning Environments (launched by Eduswiss/Net4Net)
E-Training Campus: E-Learning in enterprises (launched by Telecol Online)
Exhibition:
- Presentation of e-learning offers, platforms, courses etc. (launched by the organizers of the last Worlddidac)
- Presentation of SVC projects via e-posters and via a conference program of online demos - 30 min. each - at the SVC stand (launched by the SVC Coordination together with the University of Lucern (Program, pdf, 64 kb;)

These tracks are separate, with independent programs, with separate organization and registration, but all take place at the same time in the KKL, all share the same lunch and coffee areas. A common overall organization committee is looking for synergies.

A common public opening event gives a picture of the Swiss e-learning scene to a large public.

This structure should allow a maximum of possibilities for networking, as well as of independence of the different tracks.

Monday May 26th

Morning:

Public opening of the SVC Days
KKL, Proberaum, under the Concert hall, starting 10.00h.

Afternoon:

Common opening of the e-education event
KKL Concert hall, starting 14.00h.

Evening:

Official e-education gala dinner with music entertainment (charged separately)Verkehrshaus (MS Esperanza, Lidostrasse 5), Luzern, at 20.30h with ApŽro starting 20.00h. .

Tuesday May 27th

Morning/
Afternoon:

SVC Community Day - workshops, discussion forums
Club rooms 3 - 6 (2^nd floor) and Medien- und Businessraum 2 (3^rd floor), in the KKL Congress Center next to the railway station Lucerne, starting 9.15h.

Evening:

SVC Sunset Trip on Lake Lucerne (charged separately)
Starting 19.00h next to the railway station Lucerne (Pier no.1 beside the bridge ?SeebrŸcke").

Wednesday May 28th

Morning/
Afternoon:

Public Summary of the SVC Days - discussions about future perspectives
Proberaum, under the Concert hall, starting 8.30 h

We hope that the e-education event will offer the possibility to find many new contacts and to refresh many old ones, and that it will be a source of information and inspiration. We hope that the SVC Days 2003 will be a particularly useful meeting point for the SVC projects.
