University of Applied Sciences Zurich - University of Applied Sciences Winterthur (Project Leader)
University of Applied Sciences for Technology Rapperswil, University of Applied Sciences Aargau Northwestern Switzerland

The signals and systems field is central to numerous engineering disciplines, including regulation technology, communications and information technology.

"Fundamentals of Signals and Systems" is an e-course that will be incorporated in the relevant teaching programmes at German-speaking technical colleges. It has a two-stage structure geared to different levels of learning: Basics (compulsory) and Advanced (optional). The subjects include z-transformation, correlation and multiplex processes, and modulation types.

In addition to the interactive presentation of teaching content, the course offers simulation experiments in a virtual laboratory. Students can either monitor their progress themselves or be tested by the course supervisor.
